At My360Project, we’ve made up our minds to help these children who are in need. We feel that by washing children’s feet and giving them a much-needed pair of shoes, we can help change the trajectory of their lives. Washing their feet opens a connection to the child’s heart. Jesus left us a beautiful example by washing His disciple’s feet. Yet even before He washed their feet, there was a woman who came to wash His. Servanthood is the key for a person to be released from poverty. Children need family, education, and community to have success. By providing them with shoes, we have the chance to help give them the success that they deserve. We have the opportunity to be the hands and feet of Jesus in a dark and broken world. For these children, shoes aren’t an accessory or a fashion statement. They’re much more. Shoes are life-changing.
