I'm deeply saddened to share the news of the passing of Middleton Mayor Jackie L. Hutchison.
This is a tremendous loss for her family, the Middleton community, and everyone who had the privilege of knowing her. Jackie was the epitome of a dedicated public servant—known for her heartfelt dedication and unwavering commitment to the people of Middleton, as the city so fittingly described.
She was also the pinnacle of a successful, multifaceted woman. I greatly admired her boundless energy and talents. The last time I saw Jackie, she walked me through her vision for her already stunning home, proudly showing me the beautiful updates she had already completed. Her creative design gift was truly limitless, and it was just one reflection of the incredible person she was.
I'm grateful to have known her and to have witnessed her passion in both her personal life and her service to the community. My thoughts are with her family and all who loved her during this difficult time.
Rest in peace, Jackie. You will be deeply missed.
