I had the pleasure of creating custom awards for local company Clearwater Analytics. They are made from black walnut live edge wood harvested here in the Treasure Valley.

I made a set of four picture frames for family earlier this summer. Using black walnut Watco Danish oil, I accented sapele wood to give it a nice deep sheen.

It's been a minute since I last posted because we've been busy with all the Christmas orders! Here's the latest -- a purple heart, walnut, maple, and cherry striped board, ready to ship.

This is the largest board I make - and I get more orders for them than you'd think. It's 30x20x2 inches.

It was a busy 13-hour day out in my shop working on six cutting boards. Three ship out tonight - don't tell the others but this one might be my favorite.

The dining room table is finished! This gorgeous hard maple topped piece is 92" x 42" and probably weighs somewhere between 200-300 lbs with the steel legs.

Looking back on this fantastic, huge custom maple board I made a few weeks ago. 🤩 Orders are starting to come in, and this year the shipping times for everything may be delayed due to, well, you know. That said, make sure to get your Christmas orders in sooner than later!

23 board feet of hard maple will all go into one end-grain cutting board this week for a customer's kitchen. It's amazing just how much wood it takes to build an end-grain piece.
