Falcon BMX is located at 200 Westfield St, Meriden, CT. The track is open to the general public on non-event days from dawn to dusk. Affiliation: USA BMX
Full face helmets are required at all times on the track. *All events are weather permitting*
Races are on Saturday. Registration & Practice: 5:30pm - 6:45pm
Gate drop is to follow ASAP. June/July/August - Thursday racing also. Gate Practice is on Monday.
6:00pm - 8:00pm
What started as a conversation about a year ago has turned into reality!!
Thursday Night Racing at Falcon BMX saw the first ever Low Vision BMX Open racing!!
We had 10 riders that wanted to see what it’s like to put themselves in another persons shoes and experience life from their perspective..
Two rounds of Low Vision BMX Racing Open motos where riders would swap out glasses each round to experience a different visual disability…
All I can say is that the kids had a blast and I’m sure we will be doing this again very very soon!!

T.O. Update:
As a T.O… There’s nothing more that I like to do than announce Move Up Awards!!! We pride Falcon BMX to be a “Progression Track”.. We challenge our young riders skillset to take their talent to the next level all while having fun!!
Congratulations “Action” Jaxson Martin on moving up to Intermediate!!
This one is special!! While this young racer has only raced a short time compared to his competition.. He has been out there SENDING IT!! each and every week..
He’s one of the first racers to lend a hand with Track Prep and has personally raised over $200 for Falcon BMX.. Which was then “Paid Forwards” to kick off the Low Vision BMX Racing Series!!!
As a racer myself.. moving up in class just before the CT State Race is always something that riders look at very carefully..
“Action” Jaxson Martin said.. Screw you USABMX and your dumb move up requirements!! 25+ wins (majority don’t count) I’m moving to Intermediate where I belong just before the State Race Championships!!

This Thursday Night at Falcon BMX.. Where the concept was born!! Low Vision BMX Racing officially kicks off!! Must sign up for class or cruiser to race in the Low Vision Open!!

Attention Attention!! Huge shout out to this little ripper who earned his 20th win in Intermediate Class to move up to Experts!!!
Colton Groeber was on fire last night while facing some fierce competition!! A well deserved win at Falcon BMX!! Congratulations and welcome to Experts!!

Over 15” of rain in the last 3 weeks has done a number on the track… Huge shoutout to all the volunteers that have helpd put the track back together..

Feedback I got from the guys is that the track is very soft since it just stopped raining. There are a lot of ruts and a fresh crop of rocks that need to be addressed..
With more rain in the forecast for 4-5 PM and Thunderstorms predicted at race time 7-8 PM..
Regretfully we will have to cancel tonight’s race…
Reminder, no race this Saturday as Woodland RI has their Gold Cup Qualifier..
