This commencement weekend was a full-circle moment for UC Merced 💫

Every keynote speaker once sat in the crowd as a UC Merced graduate. Now, during the university’s 20th year, they returned to celebrate and inspire the next generation of Bobcat alumni.

In 2006, Eve Delfin was one of just three graduates in UC Merced’s very first graduating class 🎓

Twenty years later, she returned to welcome more than 1,600 undergraduates in the Class of 2026 into the Bobcat alumni family 💙🐾
