As a business, our philosophy has been to cater to underrepresented business owners, founders, and investors, precisely because they have and are always neglected and are not given the right advice, mentorship, access, funds, and tools to succeed. Which ensures that they never reach a place where they can change the status quo.
While the systemic social oppression and discrimination has been against all minorities, people of color, and women, it is black men who have bore the brunt of it and have paid the ultimate price for the most pettiest non-issues.
In order to build a just and equitable society, we need to build these underrepresented voices. There are many ways to do this, and our contribution is through helping underrepresented founders and business owners navigate the business world successfully. We also contribute 5% of our consulting revenue to civil liberties and civil rights organizations and causes. We all need to do our part in changing the status quo. If you’re not actively doing something about it, you're siding with the oppressors and tyrants. Silence is not an option!
