I am settled in with my foster mom for now, but I am looking for my furever home 💙

I’m 4 years old, and my heart is as big as they come. I absolutely LOVE people and children, the more love and attention the better. Making humans happy is kind of my life’s mission. If you’re looking for a dog who wants nothing more than to please you and be by your side, I’m your guy.

I’m dog social, too! I enjoy having canine friends. I do have a strong prey drive though, so a secure fenced-in yard is a must to keep me safe while I run, play, and get my zoomies out.

Hi! My name is Kinsale. I am an adorable 9 year old shepherd mix who is looking for my forever home. I have lots of energy, but after a good walk or run I love to come inside and chill. I would be in heaven if I could curl up on the couch with you in the evening and sleep snuggled next to you in bed. I am super smart, learning new tricks and commands quickly. I need a family with a nice yard and a PRIVACY fence, so I have space to run and play safely. I’m fast and agile, and I can climb chain link fences when I see a squirrel or rabbit I might want to chase. I have lived with other dogs in the past, but I need to be carefully introduced to new dog friends to make sure we get along. NO CATS!!! I cannot wait to meet my forever family who will love and cherish me for the rest of my life.

Oliver is a 7-year-old Beagle mix whose life has become increasingly stressful over the past couple of years. Recently, young children and a baby have been introduced into the home, and Oliver has struggled with the crying, activity, and constant stimulation. He has become anxious and frustrated, and unfortunately the situation has continued to deteriorate.

The truth is, Oliver isn’t a bad dog.

He simply needs a different environment to succeed.

We are looking for a serious foster home with no dogs, or small children, a fenced yard, and people who understand that some dogs thrive in a calm, predictable environment. As any Beagle lover knows, they enjoy following their nose, exploring the yard, and soaking up the sunshine.

Oliver spent some time up north. While he wasn’t thrilled about the car ride, once he arrived and settled into a quieter environment, he seemed rejuvenated. It was a glimpse of the dog we believe he can be when his surroundings match his needs.

We cannot bring Oliver into the shelter. A kennel environment would only increase his anxiety and add more stress during an already difficult transition.

What Oliver needs is simple: a quieter home, a little patience, and a chance.

We picture him doing wonderfully with someone retired, a couple with no dogs or young children, or a person who enjoys gardening and spending time outdoors. Oliver isn’t looking for excitement. He wants a yard to explore, a sunny spot to nap, and someone to call his own.

At only 7 years old, Oliver still has so much life left to live.

Meet Gus 🐾

Some dogs survive hard things and come out the other side still full of love. Gus is one of those dogs.

Gus was found as a stray in Detroit during the cold winter months, trying to survive on his own. Thankfully he was brought to safety and given the care he needed. Since then, he has completed heartworm treatment and is officially a heartworm survivor. Now he’s healthy, safe, and ready for the one thing he’s been waiting for all along… a forever home.

Gus is estimated to be around 5 years old and is a beautiful Shepherd/Husky mix with a gentle, loving personality. He’s the kind of dog who just wants to be near his people, enjoy the outdoors, and finally experience the comfort of having a family of his own.

He is neutered, up to date on vaccinations, and crate trained. Gus would do best in a home with a fenced yard (privacy would be preferred as he can jump when he feels confined) where he can stretch his legs and enjoy some fresh air. He may do well with another dog with proper introductions.

Gus has already fought his way through the hardest part of his story. Now he just needs someone to give him the happy ending he deserves.

She’s a gentle soul who’s about two. For most of her young life, Eve was chained outside, enduring harsh winters until we stepped in this January and forced the owner to surrender her. Thankfully, we got to her just in time; the winter was brutal and could have ended in tragedy.

Now, Eve is ready to leave her past behind. She is spayed, microchipped, and fully vaccinated. She is incredibly sweet, social, and would do well in a variety of homes. Eve is just waiting for the family who will give her the love and comfort she deserves.
