• Do not submit pictures of children until a photo release form has been secured and filed with you or your school.

• For stories related to a holiday or special day (Red Ribbon Week, for example), please send submission within five days of the event. We receive many submissions daily and work hard to post as many as possible. Please understand that it can take up to several days after submission for an item to be published. Photos are SFDR property and intellectual property of the photographer. You are encouraged to share and tag SFDR photos & posts. Any content maintained in a social media format related to agency business, including communication posted by the Agency and communication received from citizens, is a public record. The Department maintaining the site is responsible for responding completely and accurately to any public records request for social media content.
