I’m taking this one week at a time and honestly… I’m feeling really good. I’m down a little more, my energy has been good, and I’m slowly starting to notice some positive changes. Nothing dramatic, but I’m reminding myself that this is a journey and I don’t need everything to happen overnight.
Next week means a dose increase, so I’m definitely curious to see what the next phase looks like. 👀

Athens, it’s almost fiddle time!
The Tennessee Valley Old Time Fiddlers Convention is back for year 59, Wednesday, Sept. 30 through Saturday, Oct. 3 on the Athens State University campus. If you’ve never been, picture this: jam sessions tucked under every tree, craft booths as far as you can see, festival food in hand, and live bluegrass every single night.
A few things to know before you go:
🎶 Wednesday night’s gospel concert is FREE
🎟️ $20 single day or $30 for a 3-day festival pass
🛍️ Around 150 handmade craft vendors (bring a tote, trust me)
💛 Every dollar supports scholarships for Athens State students

It’s 9 2 5 Day, so naturally I’m thinking about the queen herself!
I got to spend a little time at Dollywood earlier this year, and honestly… there was just something about Dolly. She was talented, hilarious, hardworking, genuinely relatable, and somehow managed to make the whole world feel a little more sparkly.
Dolly has always been that girl, and that’s exactly why she’ll be so deeply missed. 🦋

I thought I was done (for the week 😅🤣) at SUSHIME after yesterday’s soft opening, but then I got invited back for something I definitely couldn’t pass up… a live bluefin tuna cutting experience.
There’s something so fascinating about watching the chefs break down the fish right in front of you and getting to see the different cuts before they make their way onto the menu. It really gave me a whole new appreciation for the craft behind sushi.
