COURTLAND’S PICNIC IN THE PARK IS TURNING 50!

One of Lawrence County’s longest-running summer traditions is coming back to the historic Downtown Courtland Square.

Courtland's 50th Annual Picnic in the Park is set for June 6th from 11 AM to 6 PM in Historic Downtown Courtland, bringing a full day of live music, food, vendors, kids activities, pageants, bingo, and hometown fun.

This year’s event will feature live entertainment from The Rickettes & Friends and Howell Sledge, along with six food trucks, bounce houses, face painting, cotton candy, snow cones, and more throughout the day.

For many families across Lawrence County, Picnic in the Park has been a summertime tradition for generations — and this year marks a major milestone as the event celebrates 50 years on the Square.
