Wow, we had a BIG day today! We started our morning with worship and devotional, followed by summer pondering prompts that sparked wonderful conversations and memories. After lunch, we spent time building and decorating kites, then cooled off by making frozen yogurt during Cooking Club. The afternoon continued with hair washing and styling, a lively game of table tennis, and we wrapped up the day with a competitive match of volleyball toss!

Needless to say, we kept both our minds and bodies busy from start to finish. Between the laughter, creativity, friendly competition, and meaningful moments shared together, it’s safe to say we all earned a good night’s sleep tonight. We may be tired, but our hearts are full! ❤️😊

Today we had the privilege of celebrating two wonderful ladies, Barbara and Pat, on their birthdays!

Unfortunately, we failed to get photos of these lovely ladies with their flowers, but thanks to the generosity of Svendsen’s Florist, they each received truly beautiful birthday bouquets to help make their day extra special.

A special thank you also goes out to Barbara’s amazing friend for bringing in cake and ice cream for everyone to enjoy. The residents absolutely loved the sweet treat, and it made for a wonderful afternoon of celebration, laughter, and friendship.

Our residents created these beautiful fish aquarium night lights, and we are absolutely in love with how they turned out! Each aquarium is uniquely decorated and personalized, creating a special keepsake that shines just as brightly as the wonderful individuals who made them.

Not only was this a fun and creative activity, but it also provided an opportunity for self-expression, fine motor skill practice, and a sense of accomplishment. The warm glow from these jars reminds us that even the smallest light can brighten an entire room. ✨

Shoutout to our sweet friend Maddie with Transitions Care for spoiling us rotten with delicious lemon shake-ups during bingo today! 🍋☀️ There couldn’t have been a better day for a cold, refreshing treat to help us beat the heat.

🎲 We had so much fun during our Yahtzee marathon yesterday afternoon! Congratulations to TJ on his big win! 🏆

Yahtzee is one of our favorite games, and it’s a wonderful way to exercise math, strategy, decision-making, and problem-solving skills. Most importantly, it brings lots of laughter, friendly competition, and great memories with friends.

Way to keep those minds sharp, ladies and gentlemen! We’re already looking forward to the next game day! 🎉🎲😊
