Hair loss isn’t one-size-fits-all, so neither are the solutions.
When appropriate, Nutrafol is one of the science-backed supplements I may recommend as part of a personalized hair restoration plan. But before choosing any supplement, it’s important to understand why your hair is thinning.
The right recommendation starts with the right diagnosis.

We believe health is about so much more than chasing perfection.
It’s waking up with energy.
It’s feeling confident in your own skin.
It’s understanding what your body is telling you instead of simply covering up symptoms.
At Nexus Derm, our goal is to help you uncover the why behind your concerns—whether it’s your skin, hair, hormones, or overall wellness—so you have a plan that’s personalized, sustainable, and makes sense for you.
Because feeling your best doesn’t require perfection. It starts with understanding your body. 💚
If you’re ready to take a deeper look at your health, we’re here to help.

✨ Reminder: Your body is communicating with you.
Fatigue. Hair changes. Breakouts. Brain fog. Mood shifts.
They’re not always random—and they’re not something you simply have to “push through.”
Your body has its own way of letting you know when something may be out of balance. Sometimes, the symptoms we dismiss are actually important clues pointing toward hormone imbalances, nutrient deficiencies, inflammation, thyroid concerns, or other underlying health factors.
At Nexus Derm, we believe in listening to those signals instead of covering them up. Our goal is to understand the why behind your symptoms so we can create a personalized plan that supports your long-term health.
💚 Your body isn’t working against you—it’s communicating with you.

For years, I thought my digestive issues were just something I had to live with.
Constipation. Diarrhea. Reflux. Heartburn. Bloating. I was told it was IBS, so I focused on managing the symptoms. But over time, I started asking a different question:
What if there’s more to the story?
As a nurse practitioner, I encourage my patients to look for the root cause of their health concerns. Now, I’m doing the same for myself.
I’m sharing my own GI-MAP testing journey because I know so many people silently normalize symptoms that deserve a closer look.
This isn’t about self-diagnosing or finding a quick fix. It’s about understanding what’s happening inside your body so you can make informed decisions about your health.
If you’ve ever thought, “Maybe this is just how my stomach is,” I hope this encourages you to ask more questions.
Follow along as I share my results, what they mean, and what I learn throughout the process.
Have you ever dealt with ongoing digestive issues? I’d love to hear your experience in the comments.

We often normalize brain fog as "just part of being busy."
But when you're constantly forgetting things, struggling to focus, or feeling mentally drained despite getting through your day, it may be your body's way of asking for attention—not just more coffee.
Your brain doesn't function in isolation. Sleep quality, hormones, nutrition, blood sugar, stress, and inflammation can all influence how clearly you think and how you feel.
The good news? Understanding what's contributing to those symptoms is the first step toward finding solutions that work for you.
✨ Have you ever experienced brain fog? What did it feel like for you? Share your experience below—we'd love to hear from you.

Many of us become so accustomed to pushing through discomfort that we stop questioning it.
We adapt.
We compensate.
We tell ourselves we're just stressed, busy, getting older, or need to try harder.
But sometimes the body is asking for support long before a diagnosis is ever made.
Paying attention doesn't mean assuming something is wrong. It simply means staying curious about what your body may be trying to communicate.
The goal isn't to create fear.
The goal is to create understanding.
Because when you understand what's contributing to how you feel, you can make more informed decisions about your health moving forward.
✨ Your body is always communicating. The question is whether we're listening.
If you're ready to explore a more personalized, root-cause approach to your health, we'd love to help.
