Florida Atlantic University has officially launched 2031FAU: Where Tomorrow Begins, its strategic plan for 2026 to 2031.

Built around four strategic imperatives, the plan reinforces the university's commitment to student success, research excellence, innovation, and community impact. From preparing graduates with career-ready skills to advancing research in areas like neuroscience, quantum computing, environmental innovation, and national defense, the plan outlines a bold vision for Florida Atlantic's future.

Developed with input from faculty, staff, students, trustees, and community members, 2031FAU: Where Tomorrow Begins serves as a roadmap for continued growth and impact across South Florida and beyond.

Florida Atlantic University has received a $1 million gift from the Levine Family Foundation to establish the Michael R. Levine AI-Enabled Hands-On Engineering Lab at the FAU College of Engineering and Computer Science. 🤖

The lab will give students practical experience applying AI, engaging with emerging technologies responsibly and collaborating with faculty on hands-on learning projects.

"As AI continues to transform industries, providing students with opportunities to develop real-world experience is more important than ever," said FAU President Adam Hasner .
