Nothing adds warmth to a home’s exterior quite like a beautiful gas lantern. And for homes without gas, the newer electric versions have come such a long way to creating almost an identical glow.

Professional photography will always have my heart and is always my preference, but between installs, uncontrollable delays, and projects waiting their turn in front of the camera, I’ve decided the feed deserves a little more real-time beauty.

Today’s feature: this stunning chandelier in my client’s dining room, complete with 150+ hand-hung crystal glass droplets draped by yours truly. ✨

As I work through the plans for my own home, I find myself continually returning to this feminine vignette. There’s something about the softness of the textures, the warmth of the palette, and the quiet layering of details that feels both timeless and deeply inviting. I have a feeling my own living room may reflect much of the same spirit. A large bouquet of David Austin roses does hurt, either.

I will always try to find a way to incorporate a Jiun Ho embroidered fabric in a design. 💚 After this week’s one on one presentation, I’m sure I’ll be adding his furniture to my list as well.

I love that I get to work with so many different aesthetics! I love patterns full of color, monochromatic color-drenched rooms, and layers of neutrals with strategic textures.
It’s all about who the client is, and what surrounds them that makes them happy and at peace.

It was such a special night mingling with some of the best of Atlanta’s design community at the Spring Showhouse opening night! Mark and Nikki lead a great group of designers this year. Here are some of the details that captured my eye.

Color matching all day long! Color matching doesn’t always mean we are looking for the exact color, but rather looking for the color that will marry our pallet the best.
