A current project is coming out of the ground fast in Cartersville, Ga. A private pool house that was designed to replicate the original historic home in the beautiful historic district.

StudioTrimble is pleased to announce that we were the recipients of two Silver design excellence awards last evening from the ASID Georgia chapter.

The winning project was our scenic drive private residence.

Many people who are shopping for a house find one that they think will work, but it needs a lot of updating and modifications. For the typical person, these modifications are hard to visualize.

Our team is well equipped to evaluate existing conditions, create new design drawings in 3-D rendered drawings so the homeowner can completely visualize what the modifications will look like prior to any work beginning.

This home, used as a case study an our design capabilities for primarily interior home renovation. A lot of walls were reconfigured, spaces opened up, complete new finishes, lighting, furnishings, and window treatments.

We produced as built drawings in addition to complete new construction drawings for the renovation .

We love to share our "before and after" photos of projects that undergo such an amazing transformations. One of our specialties is renovation and expansion work including total house redo to interior gutting and redesign from the walls, ceiling and details through the interior furnishing and decoration.

Our studio gets the question all the time whether to tear a building or house down and start from ground up or renovate what is there. This project is a great example where our client decided to keep what was there and rebuild. This was done on a shoestring budget with the goal to get the most bang for the buck! Sometimes that poses a more challenging design exercise for our team, but in this case the result was so successful. This shed roofed, dilapidated building is now a really cute studio rental in downtown Dahlonega, Ga.
