He'll be settling around here somewhere until I figure out what to do with him. Love how the grain is drying out, and showing the spalting!
We'll... He's finished! All sanded and sealed with plenty of lessons learned for future carvings!
More progress on the driftwood wood spirit... That nose is much better! 🤣

I started creating a Pinocchio wood spirit today !?
Just going with the flow of the wood, and letting the spirit find its way out....
I’ll probably bring that pe**er of a nose down, but it was fun trying to make that broken branch work… 😂
The "Pick Ellijay" wooden sculpture apples took a beating being out in full weather and sun, so I brought them back in for an upgrade!
Rain coming in all weekend supposedly, so I'll finish them after everything dries up again with sealer...
