Twenty-five years ago, our nation changed forever. Today, we pause to honor those we lost and the countless lives dedicated to service in the years that followed. We will never forget.

That's a wrap on Hunt No. 3.

TopGolf the night before. Boats on the bayou at first light. Gators coming out of the marsh. This is what The Boot does for transitioning service members who are considering calling Louisiana home.
These guys went from swapping stories at TopGolf to hauling gators out of the bayou in less than 24 hours. That's Louisiana.

This is The Boot showing it, not just saying it.

Heading into Labor Day weekend, we're thinking about what this holiday is really about: honoring the American workforce. Few have contributed more than those who served. Louisiana's industries - construction, maritime, healthcare, aerospace, and more - are growing and need skilled, mission-driven people now more than ever. If you know a transitioning service member or military family looking for their next chapter, tag them below. The Boot connects them with careers, community, and a state that wants them here.

Big news out of Louisiana: we're now #1 in the nation for announced capital investment in 2026.

More capital coming in means more jobs, more industry, and a stronger economy for the people who call this state home, including the service members and military families we help recruit, retain, and return to Louisiana every day.

When opportunity grows here, so does every reason to stay, come back, or put down roots. That's a win for all of us.

Hats off to Governor Jeff Landry, Louisiana Economic Development, and every partner working together to bring this investment home.

Proud to announce that Louisiana is now the #1 state in the Nation for announced capital investment.

A massive testament to our commitment to bring more jobs and opportunity home to Louisiana!

Did you know?
Before Lamar Narcisse joined The Boot, he was a transitioning service member who used our services and resources to build his own path here. Then our CEO saw something. The same lived experience that made Lamar need us made him exactly who we needed.
"He said we could use your eye as a TSM and your expertise with your HR background."
Now, as a Success Manager, Lamar helps other service members navigate the transition he once walked himself. That's the whole idea. The people we serve become the people who serve.
