Since you can't set off explosives everywhere, he eventually bought 6 PAR cans and that was the first light show. Eric's dad would drive him to gigs in the family's Oldsmobile - trunk full of gear, stands wedged in the front. Eric's interests quickly expanded into sound system

The SL225 made its debut this weekend and did exactly what it’s built for: tight footprint, fast setup, and efficient from start to finish. We love this stage and can’t wait to see it out working all season!

Haven't heard from us in a while? Make sure we still know who you are! Event Tech is seeking qualified Freelancers for the 2026 season:
-Staging: Stageline Certified technicians, individuals with strong decking and structural knowledge(LA towers, skaff, self climbers)
-Audio Engineers: Familiar with the JBL/Crown system workflow, Yamaha consoles, Shure Wireless
-Lighting Techs: Familiar with Hog/MA consoles, strong networking knowledge, designing and deploying lighting rigs in corporate and festival environments, Vectorworks
-Video: LED Wall deployment, Novastar processing, Resolume, Black Magic Switchers, PTZ & Traditional Cameras
Freelancers should have:
-A minimum of 2 years experience in the industry
-The Ability to lift 60lbs unassisted
-Reliable Transportation
-Experience working long hours
-A positive, hands on, team player attitude
