I've experienced it and seen clients get relief when they start journaling their gratitude.

I've been practicing gratitude for almost two decades. It's easy to complain and talk about what's wrong. It takes a little more effort to think about what you're grateful for. But it's the quickest and simplest way to move from unhappy to content.

In the beginning I didn't have much to put on my list - a bed to sleep in, food in the fridge. Just the very basics. But over the years my list of things to be grateful for has grown exponentially.

At the top of my list today is always God, my husband and my kids. Then there's my dogs, time in nature, a good night's sleep, my work, and YOU - I am truly grateful for YOU showing up and being part of my community every single day.
