With heavy hearts, the Eastern Area of The Links, Incorporated honors the remarkable life and legacy of Congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee. A trailblazer and champion for justice, equality, and the rights of all. Congresswoman Jackson Lee’s dedication to public service and her unwavering commitment to her constituents have left an indelible mark on our nation.
As we remember her profound contributions and celebrate her enduring legacy, we extend our deepest condolences to her family, friends, and all who were touched by her extraordinary life. Congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee’s spirit of service, resilience, and leadership will continue to inspire us all.
✨ We are humbled to be one of four incredible nonprofits in Loudoun who received the Inova Health Equity Award of $25,000. “These organizations are dedicated to reducing health disparities and improving care for under-resourced communities, aligning with us to address health equity and social drivers of health in Northern Virginia. We are honored to support them in providing vital services”.
We remain committed to improving health and wellness disparities or gaps in our community.

Happy National Crown Day!
National Crown Day commemorates the inaugural signing of the first Crown Act legislation in California on July 3, 2019. Since then 25 states have passed legislation to ban hair discrimination.
Crown stands for "Create a Respectful and Open World for Natural Hair."

The joins the rest of The Links, Incorporated in mourning the passing of Regina Jollivette Frazier, the Ninth National President of The Links, Incorporated. The youngest woman ever to lead the organization, Regina Jollivette Frazier leaves behind an outstanding legacy of accomplishment. Our thoughts and prayers go out to her family and the entire organization.
The Links Incorporated mourns the loss of our Eighth National President Dolly Desselle Adams. We are truly saddened by her loss, but take comfort in the wonderful legacy she leaves behind—a legacy of love, leadership and friendship which shall remain a part of our organization and in our hearts forever. Let us keep her family lifted in prayer and surrounded by love and friendship.

The school board will be considering a motion to eliminate the entire LCPS Division of Equity and Inclusion. Residents are encouraged to show up to speak or show support.
