Wisconsin Army Cadets

Armory work day TODAY THURSDAY. Cadet Staff are welcome to stop by throughout the afternoon, 1230-1700, to accomplish tasks or work. Kindly notify COL Blahnik or buzz the security gate for access.

For the past 12 months soldiers from our home station unit the 2/127th Infantry Wisconsin Army National Guard have been deployed overseas in support of Middle East operations. Three of those individuals are members of the Wisconsin Army Cadet staff. Today we welcomed back the final group to Wisconsin. We are proud of our soldiers and their strong families, and we are glad they are home safe and sound.

2026 Wisconsin Timber Rattlers Military Appreciation Night featured a program display, color guard, ruck toss, field activities and more. We appreciate everyone who attended.

We take a moment today to express gratitude and remember those who gave for our liberty.

Private Ethan Wochinski has joined the Wisconsin Army Cadets as the new public affairs lead, and we extend a warm welcome to him. In his first 24 hours, he has already made a significant impact by supporting the Old Glory Honor Flight and preparing all materials for the Military Appreciation Night at the Wisconsin Timber Rattlers on 26 May. We look forward to collaborating with him and thank him for his outstanding support thus far.

Today we were visited by the Appleton Optimist Club for a presentation on our program and a tour of the Armory. We enjoyed having them and we really appreciate the lunch they provided following the tour.

The Wisconsin Army Cadets have successfully completed their 4th and final Field Training Exercise for this training year, conducting six successful squad lead missions. Up next, the Spartan Challenge.
