Yesterday at X Marks the Scale, there was a certain kind of energy in the room: the kind you get when people actually want to be there. 🤝

Conversations everywhere. Ideas being challenged. Introductions turning into longer conversations. A lot of laughter in between. And that constant buzz in the background that tells you something is happening. 👀

From the stage sessions and interviews to the 1:1 matchmaking, startups, corporates, investors and ecosystem partners came ready to talk, listen, connect and explore what they could actually build together.

And judging by the conversations that kept going long after the sessions ended, this was something the community was ready for.

A full day? Absolutely.
A very good one? Oh, yes. 🚀

After a full day of matchmaking at 𝗫 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗸𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗦𝗰𝗮𝗹𝗲, we’re keeping the conversations going at Bruma Coffee & W**e. 🥂

Because community isn’t built only through meetings, pitches and business cards. Sometimes, it’s built over a drink, some music and the conversations you didn’t have time to finish during the day.

🌟 𝐓𝐰𝐨 𝐝𝐚𝐲𝐬 𝐢𝐧 𝐏𝐚𝐦𝐩𝐥𝐨𝐧𝐚, 𝐨𝐧𝐞 𝐬𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐞𝐝 𝐦𝐢𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧: 𝐦𝐨𝐯𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐖𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐧 𝐓𝐞𝐜𝐡𝐄𝐔 𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐝.
 
For the first in-person Women TechEU consortium meeting, partners from across Europe came together in Pamplona for two days of conversations, progress reviews, knowledge sharing and planning for what comes next.
 
And we were especially proud to see our own 𝗕𝗶𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗮 𝗣𝗮𝗰𝘂𝗿𝗮𝗿, from the InnovX team, take the floor and present our work and contribution to the programme. 💜
 
Moments like these are a good reminder that strong European programmes are built not only through ambitious goals, but through the people behind them, sharing expertise, challenging ideas and working together to create better opportunities for women-led deep-tech companies across Europe. 🚀

𝐒𝐨... 𝐡𝐨𝐰 𝐝𝐨 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐬𝐮𝐦 𝐮𝐩 𝐭𝐡𝐫𝐞𝐞 𝐎𝐩𝐞𝐧 𝐂𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐬, 𝐭𝐡𝐫𝐞𝐞 𝐜𝐨𝐡𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐚 𝐟𝐞𝐰 𝐭𝐡𝐨𝐮𝐬𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐮𝐩 𝐚𝐩𝐩𝐥𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬?

We all get together in Pamplona for the Open Horizons Project consortium meeting, and we start talking. A lot! 😊

And there was quite a bit to unpack.
Across three Open Calls, 4,112 applications were started, 929 submitted from 52 countries and 30 women-led deep-tech startups selected, with access to up to €55,000 in equity-free funding.

𝗔𝗻𝗱 𝗻𝗼𝘄? Cohort 1 has completed its journey, Cohort 2 is approaching pilot finalisation, and the 11 startups in Cohort 3 are currently in the Inception Programme, getting ready for what comes next.

But projects like this are never just about the nice numbers you put on a slide. They’re about what worked, what didn’t, what we learned along the way and how we make the next steps even better.

Three Open Calls down. The final cohorts are in motion.
