And soon it will be game over. Only one week left to visit "OFFSIDE" at /SAC Mincu Gallery Academiei 18-20, from Monday to Saturday, 2:00-8:00pm.
"We explores competitiveness, but in doing so we also filter out dismaying stakes, by proposing a clear distinction between Competitiveness and Polarization-Aggression-Toxicity. We are
interested in what separates us and what brings us together: co-presence, diversity and
togetherness, the plurality that reclaims public space performatively, as well as that dimension of playfulness found in games. On the other hand, competition remains a rhythmic stress generator; it involves the rhythm of effort, the alternation between rest and maximum intensity, the time pressure." - Alex Radu () curator of "Offsaid"

The discussion will take place in English.
What happens when we think of the body not as a
closed svstem, but as a site of continuous
exchange?
You Are What You Digest brings together two artistic practices that approach biological processes from radically different directions.
Thomas Feuerstein's METABOLICA is a five-chapter artistic system about metabolic cycles, moving from the Industrial Revolution and whaling through petrochemistry toward a possible biochemica future. It connects nature, economy, politics technology, art and science through actual biologica processes.
In her work BLOT - Body Line of Thought, developed with Vanessa Goodman, Simona Deaconescu explores the body through choreography, examining the invisible organisms that inhabit us and shape our biological and social existence
Their practices meet around questions of
transformation, contamination and coexistence:
What enters the body, what leaves it, and what
changes in the process? What happens when
digestion becomes not only a biological process, but also a way of thinking about culture, technology, ecology and our relationship to other forms of life?
Rather than a conventional lecture, the evening takes the form of a shared dinner and conversation, a setting in which the subiect of metabolism becomes part of the experience itself.

Looking back at the sound performance that took place at „Șantier” (“Construction Site”), we would like to thank everyone who joined us and shared this experience of sound, space, and collective listening.
The performance brought a new sonic dimension to Dumitru Gorzo’s exhibition, activating the space through live sound, movement, and improvisation. In dialogue with the works and materials already present in the exhibition, the intervention created a temporary acoustic landscape and opened up new ways of experiencing the space.
Special thanks to AL.Ehtifal Project and the musicians Ariadna Ene Iliescu (viola), Lehel Vitalyos (double bass), Mohamad Zatari (guitar / oud), and Andrei Raicu (electronics) for their intervention and for transforming the exhibition into a shared sonic experience.
Thank you once again to everyone who was there with us.

"Offsaid", curated by Alex Radu
"Team sports perceived as living architecture become the ultimate metaphor for co-working. The playing field is activated through rules that dictate flows, collaborations and co-presences; these turn into choreography and create in/visible working geometries. It is a form of sym-poiesis, a making-with, a game in which the final result doesn’t belong to any one individual, but to the whole. This approach resonates with the way in which shared concerns across different artistic disciplines co-exist and are co-working within this curatorial programme."

One year later, we are launching the trailer and the short film of the exhibition-installation "CELLA/kamera. Alexander Brodsky at Malmaison", a vivid testimony of a complex endeavour, which still gains layers and thoughts after all this time. Alexander Brodsky's presence at /SAC Malmaison left palpable marks that come across even though the screen, although the artistic-spatial experience through CELLA/kamera is hard to be materialised/captured/frozen in images.
Full film out soon.
