Reminder for U.S. Expats: STEP enrollments only last for one year. Americans living abroad should re-enroll in STEP each year to continue to receive alerts and be connected with the local U.S. Embassy. Suspension of Embassy Services

In order to respond to the earthquake that affected Burma (Myanmar) on March 28 and better assist American citizens:

- We are suspending non-emergency consular services, including visa services, while continuing American Citizen Services.
- The American Center Yangon and Jefferson Center Mandalay are closed to the public.
