The “Freedom 250: Combating Digital Fraud in Myanmar” Festival will bring together young people from across Myanmar for a free three-day program focused on media literacy, responsible digital engagement, and online safety.

Through interactive workshops, panel discussions, and hands-on learning experiences, participants will strengthen the critical thinking and digital awareness skills needed to navigate today’s information environment.

Memorial Day is a solemn annual occasion to honor and remember the service members who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to the United States. Their courage and dedication to defending freedom will never be forgotten.

On April 29, CDA a.i. Doug Sonnek hosted a special reception to celebrate the full restoration of this historic "Heritage Building" following the 2025 earthquake. For decades, the JCM has served as a vital bridge between the U.S. and upper Myanmar.
This renovation reaffirms our commitment to providing young leaders, professionals, and students with a safe, modern space to connect, learn, and innovate. We are proud to welcome the community back to a stronger, safer Jefferson Center!
