Happy Birthday to The Ivy Exeter

From first impressions to favourites, there’s a reason this one’s become a go-to in the city. Here are five things we love about The Ivy:

✨ The selfie toilets
When it first opened, these were the most photographed spot in Exeter. Still iconic.

🥧 Their signature Shepherd’s Pie[AE1.1]
Comforting, classic, and the dish everyone tells you to order at least once.

💫 That “let’s go somewhere nice” energy
Birthdays, celebrations, visitors in town, or just because… The Ivy has become the place to go for a celebration.[AE2.1]

🍳 Breakfast that feels like a treat
Pastries, full English, coffee that lingers… it’s not just an evening destination.

🍸 Cocktails for the occasion
This is where you go when a drink needs to feel a bit special, not just another round.

Have you ticked them all off? 👀

Welcome to Paris Street 👋❤️

Say hello to the new British Red Cross shop, officially opened today by Jon Walton from Princesshay.

This isn’t your traditional charity shop. It’s part of a new wave, where the focus is still firmly on doing good, but the experience feels fresh, modern and considered. With updated branding, thoughtful layouts and a curated feel, it’s a space that feels more like a boutique than you might expect. You’ll even spot brand new pieces from high street names on the rails.

It’s all part of the evolution of the charity shop, where pre-loved fashion, sustainability and purpose come together in a way that feels effortless and inspiring.

A great addition to the street, and another reason to take a wander through this part of the city ❤️
