Darkroom technician .thomas62 is currently showing an exhibition of his work at The Plough Arts Centre in Great Torrington.

Forms/Decay features photographs of Torrington Creamery. Torrington Creamery was a dairy processing plant that had its heyday in the mid-twentieth century but closed down in the 1980s, later becoming a site for urbex enthusiasts and graffiti artists. The plant was finally demolished in 2025. The work exhibited - which focuses on architectural and other details – captures a post-industrial ruin during the last years of its existence, when dilapidation and decay were among its most notable features.

Make sure to go and check it out!

Photo Exhibition 'Voices from the Globe'
Exeter College 'Photo Voices' Project 2026

7th July, 1-6pm 8th July, 10am - 6pm
Positive Light Projects 184-187, Sidwell St. Exeter EX4 6RD

'Voices from the Globe' shows work from a 'Photo Voices' project undertaken this Spring with students from Exeter College based at the Globe English Centre. It was a collaboration between Exeter College and Looking for Change cic.

The photographers are 16-19 year olds from a variety of countries, all sharing an uncertain future.

The project was an experiement with a number of aims. It used photography as a means for the participants to reflect on their lives here in the UK, while also building self-esteem, photography skills and a sense of agency.

A series of workshops evolved in response to the students' varied availability and interests, within a limited time frame. In between group sessions, they took cameras home to explore topics in their own time.

This exhibition celebrates their achievements and gives us a glimpse of what life looks like through their eyes.

Looking for Change cic collaborates with institutions, groups and researchers to design and deliver photovoice projects and training.

Join tomorrow evening for the Jewish Voices for Palestine meeting

In the years that Israel has occupied and oppressed Palestinian people, rarely have we heard the voices of Jewish people who do not support the Zionist endeavour. As the latest genocide in Gaza took hold a group of local Jewish people, some of whom had been speaking out against Israel for years, came together under the banner of the Devon Jews for Palestine Group. Along with Exeter Palestine Solidarity Campaign they have arranged this meeting in order for their experiences and voices to be heard. Do come along.

Please note entrance is ONLY via free registration on Eventbrite - https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/jewish-voices-for-palestine-tickets-1988860434097
