Starting Stampede Weekend, the library will be closed on Saturdays through Labour Day Weekend.
Use your Saturdays to read in a hammock, take a book to the beach, or cozy up by the campfire 📖🔥—we’ll see you weekdays for all your summer reading needs!

Looking for a creative night out? ✨ Join us for Stitching in the Stacks on Thursday evenings from 6–8 PM! Bring whatever project you’re working on—knitting, crochet, embroidery, journaling, colouring, doodling… it all fits in. Join us for Play & Connect, a playgroup filled with exploration, social interaction, and a chance for caregivers to connect. No registration required—just drop in and play!

Stop by anytime to add a few pieces, take a moment to relax, and help bring the image to life—one piece at a time. It’s a great drop-in activity for all ages, whether you stay for a minute or a while.
There’s no pressure, no sign-up—just a fun, ongoing project that everyone can contribute to.
