🏆 TOURNAMENT CHAMPS

Last weekend our 12U T1 team, (sponsored by Simcoe Toyota.), travelled to St. Thomas to participate in the Cardinal Classic and returned home as Champions!

The Giants opened tournament play with a strong 10-1 victory over Newmarket before continuing their offensive momentum with a 21-3 win over Quinte. Simcoe wrapped up round-robin action with a 17-5 victory over St. Thomas, securing first place and a berth in the semifinals.

In the semifinal matchup, the Giants faced a determined Thornhill squad and earned a 15-8 victory through timely hitting, aggressive base running, and solid defensive play.

The championship game featured a showdown with Sarnia. The Giants rose to the occasion, delivering another complete team effort and securing the title with a 16-7 victory.

Congratulations, Giants!

⚾️ TOURNAMENT WEEKEND

Another weekend is upon us and, with it, brings another Tournament Weekend for four of our teams!

Our 10U team, (sponsored by Best Weigh Scales), is headed to London to compete in the Trevor Barton Memorial Tournament.

The Seniors are also away this weekend as they head to Tillsonburg to compete.

Further away, our 12U T2 team, (sponsored by Menz Den), is in Georgina, competing in the Bulldogs Bash.

Back at home, at Lions Park, our 13U team, (sponsored by Sierra Construction Group), is hosting the 13U/Peewee A and Under Tournament.

Round Robin games for the Giants are:
Friday @ 8:15pm
Saturday @ 10:30am and 1:30pm

⚾️ TRYOUTS: 16U Team for Ontario Summer Games

Southern Counties Baseball Association will be hosting tryouts on the following dates for the 2026 16U Boys Ontario Summer Games Team:

Simcoe Lions Park - Wednesday June 3rd at 7 PM
Simcoe Memorial Park - Sunday June 7th at 7 PM.

The tournament is held July 30 - August 2nd in Waterloo Ontario.

Players must be registered to attend tryouts.

Please ensure you put in the comments your players name and that it is for the Summer Games tryouts.

Eight teams are participating in this inaugural tournament that focuses on youth mental health, including the following features:

💚 A public address from the 16U sponsor, Kaley E. Horton, regarding resources available at the park
💚 Resources from Jack.org and Haldimand-Norfolk REACH

Round Robin games for our 16U team are:

Another Tournament Weekend is upon us, and we have 3 SMBA teams competing!

On the road, our 11U team, (sponsored by Achieve Movement Health Clinic), is headed to St. Thomas to compete in the A and Under Tournament.

Heading in the other direction, the Junior team is headed to Brantford to compete in their tournament.

Back at home, our 15U team, (sponsored by Roulston’s), is hosting the 15U/Major Bantam A and Under Tournament.

Using the diamond in Delhi, as well as the home diamond at Memorial park, ten teams compete throughout the weekend. The 15U team Round Robin games as follows:

Friday @ 8:15pm
Saturday @ 1:30pm & 6:00pm

This weekend, using the diamonds in Delhi, Port Dover, and their home diamond at Memorial Park in Simcoe, our 18U team, (sponsored by Edgil Pool Services Ltd), is hosting the Lisa Dedrick Memorial A and Under Tournament.

This year we have 16 teams competing, including our 16U team, sponsored by Kaley's Restaurant And Kaley's Kakes.

Round Robin games are as follows:

Friday:
18U - 3:45pm - Simcoe - vs Scarborough
16U - 8:15pm - Delhi - vs LaSalle

Saturday:
18U - 11:15am - Simcoe - vs Waterdown
16U - 11:15am - Port Dover - vs Cambridge
18U - 6:00pm - Simcoe - vs Oakville
16U - 8:15pm - Simcoe - vs Welland
