I would like to sincerely thank all of our competitors, spectators, and volunteers for making the first-ever Simcoe Pickleball Club Tournament such a tremendous success today.
From running ahead of schedule and finishing early, to raising more money than we anticipated, and having such an incredible turnout of spectators and volunteers — the day truly exceeded expectations. We couldn’t have done it without all of you.
Congratulations to our champions:
Women’s 3.0 Champions: Leona Baker & Gerrie Baldwin
Women’s 3.0+ Champions: Hannah Kralt & Elysia Black
Men’s 3.0 Champions: Alan Snively & Salvatore Marchese
Men’s 3.0+ Champions: Rob Perry & Justin Znebel
Mixed 3.0+ Champions: Chris Martin & Kali Anevich
Well done to all of our winners — and to every player who competed and made the day so much fun and competitive.
Thank you again to everyone who helped make this event such a great success!

Hello Everyone and Members of SPC,
Our tournament is finally here this Saturday, February 21st! 🎉
Games start at 9:00 AM and will run until approximately 4:30 PM.
If you’re a fan of pickleball, completely addicted like most of us, or simply curious about the game and thinking of trying it, come out and watch some great matches and cheer on the teams!
We’ll also have:
A Silent Auction featuring swimming pool equipment, gift cards, hats, and more
A 50/50 draw (you do not need to be present to win)
A special thank you to our generous donors:
Carter's Men's Wear
Cori Kennedy
Swimwerx
Joe Osinga
Greg Deschamps
We’re also excited to have vendors on site:
BioPed Footcare (footcare & orthotics)
Kourt Shark (Paddles and Balls)
All funds raised will go toward bringing pickleball courts to Simcoe.
To have courts painted at Talbot Street Park would cost approximately $3,500 per court, and there is space to accommodate six pickleball courts while still maintaining two tennis courts.
We’ve already met with Norfolk County to get the process started, and we’ve attached a diagram below showing the proposed layout.
Thank you for your continued support — let’s make this a fantastic day for SPC and continue growing pickleball in our community! 🏓
Celebrating our 2nd year on Facebook. Thank you for your continuing support. We could never have made it without you. 🙏🤗🎉

3 teams in Men’s 3.5+
3 teams in Women’s 3.5+
2 teams in Mixed 3.0
Not only do we offer a $250 first-place prize (if the division is full), but there will also be second and third place prizes in each division.
And if that’s not enough, we’ll also have great prizes from local businesses!
We will also have businesses on site with tables, showcasing products such as pickleball paddles, shoes, orthotics, and more.
Don’t miss out — spots are filling up fast!

Hi everyone,
Our 3.0 men’s and women’s divisions are filling up quickly, and Ladies 3.5 and mixed 3.0 is already halfway full. Let’s keep the momentum going and make this tournament a great one—with your help, we can absolutely do that.
We’ll also have special vendors set up with tables throughout the event. We’re working hard to bring in a variety of pickleball paddle suppliers. So far, we will have BioPed on site, offering orthotics and pickleball shoes. We may also have Slash Paddle, kourt Shark, Brickhouse, Taylor Optical and a few others we’re currently working on.
Our goal is to make this an event people will be talking about for a long time—in a good way! 😄
Thanks everyone for your support, and we’re looking forward to a fantastic tournament!

The boards will be painted a lighter colour for improved visibility.
New lighting has been approved and scheduled for 2026.
These upgrades are a huge step forward and will make our facilities even better—especially for hosting future tournaments.
