🌱 Our Teen Advisory Group (TAG) has been busy getting their hands dirty in the Simcoe Community Garden! These photos are from our most recent meeting, where teens helped plant and prepare the garden for a season of growth. 🌿☀️

TAG is a chance for teens to connect, learn new skills, make a difference in their community, and help shape the future of programs and services. 🤗

Here's what's coming up this summer:

🌻 June 16 – 3D print garden signs, review gardening practices, and explore food security resources
🌻 June 30 – Garden maintenance and early harvesting (if available)
🌻 July 14 – Share ideas about how the Library can better engage teens through programs, resources, and services
🌻 July 28 – Garden maintenance and early harvesting (if available)
🌻 August 11 – Topic to be determined
🌻 August 25 – Final summer meeting with garden maintenance and harvesting

What a fantastic evening in St. Williams! 🎈

Last night marked the third annual as part of , and more than 115 community members joined in the fun! Families explored a fire truck, ambulances, and a Canadian Coast Guard boat, painted rocks, enjoyed a Storywalk, played games, practised fire drills, and made wonderful memories together. 🚒🚑🚤📚🎨

We're so grateful to the amazing community partners who helped make this event possible: St. Williams Fire Station, St. Williams Lions, St. Williams United Church, Norfolk EMS, Norfolk County Water Safety, and the Canadian Coast Guard. Thank you for helping this event grow a little bigger and a little more fun each year! 💚

Our drop-in Storytime programs are designed for children ages 0 to 6 years of age. Build early literacy and social skills! Each session include themed stories, songs, activities, and play!
