Here is the much awaited food forest plan for Waterworks Park.
Just under a 1/4 of an acre and all the plants have been donated! The plan tomorrow is to get the fruit and berry bushes planted from Eising Greenhouses & Garden Centre , Schuyler Farms Ltd and Carolinian Canada Coalition
Then we will fill in with the rest of the vegetative/herbal & root layer either later this fall or in the spring. The spicebush and sassafras will be added in once we are able to propagate/transplant them.
Hope to see you this Saturday Oct 28th at 11am 266 Chapel St!
Very exciting to finally be breaking ground!
