As the season has come to an end for both our Lady Bruins and Bruins Men, we want to give a very special and very deserved shoutout to our incredible athletic trainers, Sam and Lebo! 💙🐻

Sam and her team at have been supporting us since the Bruins Men returned to Maple Ridge in 2023. When we asked this season if they’d also take on our Lady Bruins, there wasn’t a second of hesitation. We want to thank Sam and for growing with us and seeing our vision of continuing to grow rugby throughout Ridge Meadows.

Sam and Lebo are such a vital parts of our teams, and we truly can’t thank them enough for everything they’ve done to keep our athletes healthy, supported, and game-ready all season long!

We appreciate you both more than words can say! 💙🐻

A little glimpse into our Senior Awards Banquet from this past Saturday ✨

We had an incredible evening celebrating our U14 boys, Lady Bruins, and Bruins Men! 🐻

The Cliff Latter Award is presented each season through a club-wide vote, recognizing an individual who embodies the spirit, dedication, and passion that Cliff Latter brought to the Bruins Rugby Club for nearly a decade as both the beating heart of the club and a devoted coach. 🐻

This year’s recipient is our Vice President, Brayden Cardiff.

Brayden’s dedication, impact, and commitment to the Bruins are truly special. He consistently shows up both on and off the field, helping drive the growth of our club while continuing to play for our Men’s team and support the development of our Lady Bruins through coaching.

He leads with positivity and sets the standard for what it means to be a Bruin through his consistency, effort, and selflessness. We are proud to recognize Brayden as this year’s Cliff Latter Award winner. 💙🐻

What a season it was for our Bruins Men! 🐻 While the season didn’t start the way they had hoped, these men showed resilience, battled through adversity, and grew tremendously in the second half!
