For over 40 years James Cameron School has been meeting the needs of elementary-aged students who have great potential, but who learn differently, because they have learning disabilities such as dyslexia. James Cameron is accredited by the Independent Schools Branch of the B.C. Ministry of Education. We teach the BC Ministry curriculum in a way that children with learning disabilities will learn,

🎨✨ New at Recess & Lunch!
Not every student wants to be active on the playground every day—and that’s okay!
We now have a Creative Craft Cart set up outside for anyone who’d rather draw, build, create 🎨✂️, or just try something different during break time. Whether it’s a quiet moment, a burst of creativity, or a new way to connect with friends—there’s something for everyone!

Running shoes (no Crocs), Team colour T-shirt, Running shorts.
☀️ Bring sunscreen, a hat, and a rain jacket just in case!

Our Grouse Mountain trip was fun for all! 😊
We explored, admired the incredible views, created beautiful First Nations–inspired paintings, and even got to see the grizzly bears up close! 🐻🎨
