We’re proud to support the Ridge Meadows Chamber Golf Tournament on September 11 at Golden Eagle Golf Club!

This annual event brings local businesses, community leaders and partners together for a day of connection, collaboration and friendly competition, all while strengthening the spirit of Maple Ridge and Pitt Meadows.

Golfers will kick off the morning with a De Dutch sponsored breakfast at 7:30am, followed by announcements at 8:30am and a 9am shotgun start. Players can take part in the ACE Challenge for a chance to win $10,000 courtesy of Driving Unlimited Academy, and swing for a car at the West Coast Auto hole in one contest.

We’re excited to join the Chamber and community partners for a fantastic day on the green at Golden Eagle. See you out there!

At this year's Community FORE Charity Golf Tournament, Maple Ridge Community Foundation President Kevin Nosworthy presented former Board Director Justin Fuller with a commemorative award in recognition of his years of dedicated service to the Foundation.

Although Justin has completed his time on the Board, his commitment to the Foundation continues through his ongoing support of the Community FORE Charity Golf Tournament. We are grateful for his leadership, generosity, and the many ways he continues to give back to our community.

Thank you, Justin, for everything you've done and continue to do for the Maple Ridge Community Foundation.

Lifetime Achievement Award recipient Angie Rowell recently presented her $2,500 donation—made possible through the generous support of Donada Industries Ltd.—to the 2nd Haney Guides.

The cheque presentation took place at Maple Ridge Cemetery, where the Guides were volunteering their time cleaning headstones and caring for a place that holds so much local history. It was a fitting reminder that community is built through service, leadership, and a willingness to give back.

Thank you, Angie, for choosing to invest in the next generation of community leaders, and thank you to the 2nd Haney Guides for the incredible work you're already doing in our community.

One of the traditions of the Maple Ridge Community Foundation's Citizen of the Year Awards is that each category winner has the opportunity to direct a charitable donation to an organization that is close to their heart.

This year's Teesha Sharma Memorial Award recipient, Ellie Ollenberger, chose to donate the $2,000 award—made possible through the generous support of Blom Wealth & Associates—to the One Way Club Society.

The One Way Club Society is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing a safe, drug- and alcohol-free, family-friendly environment for individuals on their recovery journey. The organization also serves as a referral centre and offers volunteer counselling to those affected by addiction.

Congratulations, Ellie, and thank you for supporting an organization making a meaningful difference in our community.
