Another incredible year of SPARK is coming to a close! 🎉

This year, 176 students across 9 cohorts explored math through coding, robotics, hands-on challenges, and creative STEM activities. Along the way, they built confidence, strengthened problem-solving skills, and discovered that math can be fun.

With CPCF's support, we delivered the STEAM Engine program to 154 students in Whitehorse for the very first time.

Yukon youth should have the same quality of STEM education as anyone else, and together we're making that happen 💙

This spring, we were proud to support two youth STEM initiatives across our community: Junior Math Challenge, where .tjahja shared his experiences in STEM, and the Town of Milton Hackathon , where we helped mentor and support the event💪

SPARK Program is back! The Winter Term runs from February–April at Bennetto Elementary School and the Hamilton Regional Indian Center. Link in bio!
Participants will strengthen numeracy fundamentals in number sense and numeration, geometry, and algebra with a focus on real-life application. At the same time, they will develop essential soft skills such as collaboration, communication, goal setting, emotional regulation, and self-confidence, building a strong foundation for success in school and beyond
