Let us support your next neighborhood gathering! Our resident grants are designed to help Wheat Ridge neighbors connect, celebrate and take care of our community—and we just made 20 more grants available for 2026. 🥳 There are two kinds of grants:

🎪Block Party Grant - 10 remaining!
We’ll reimburse up to $150 for food, non-alcoholic beverages, or other event-related expenses when you host a neighborhood gathering like a block party.

🗑️Dumpster Grant - 10 remaining!
We’ll deliver a dumpster to your driveway for the weekend so you and your neighbors can clear out unwanted furniture, yard waste or other pesky items that are difficult to dispose of.

Bring the kids to enjoy bubbles and a bounce house or challenge your friends and neighbors to Giant Jenga, co****le, ladder toss, or giant checkers!

As a special treat, registered guests will receive a token to enjoy one of El Arka Plaza's delicious arroz con leche flavors, or try a fresh juice! It's been HOT these last couple of weeks—this is the perfect way to cool down! El Arka has plenty of shade and mist.

This free, come-and-go event is open to all ages. Come play, connect with your community, and stay for dinner to experience El Arka Plaza's authentic Colombian cuisine and welcoming outdoor plaza. Registration helps us plan ahead, so be sure to reserve your spot and claim your sweet treat token in advance. We can't wait to see you there!

Get ready for a TLC Clean-up Day! 🗑️♻️

Join us on Saturday, August 15th at Wheat Ridge Congregational Church (6310 W 29th Ave, Wheat Ridge, CO 80214) to dispose of your trash, recycling, large items and yard waste! The line for cars opens at 7:45am—please help us maintain traffic safety and reduce disruptions to the nearby neighborhood by arriving no earlier than 7:45am.

Join Localworks on Thursday, August 13, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. for a fun-filled Live Local at one of Wheat Ridge's newest community gathering places. Challenge your friends and neighbors to Giant Jenga, co****le, ladder toss, or giant checkers, let the kids enjoy bubbles and a bounce house, and soak up a summer evening.
