Huge books, tiny prices 🐳 The countdown begins to the 2026 Fall Whale of a Used Book Sale, launching October 22-25 at the Jefferson County Fairgrounds! The mountains just got their first snow... which means it's SHREDDING SEASON!

Join us for the Shred-A-Thon fundraiser Saturday, October 3 at Jeffco Fairgrounds from 9AM to noon for secure shredding on-site and electronics recycling. Recommended donation $10 per box, limit 3 boxes shreddable items per car (no books, TVs, or large appliances!).

Meet JENNY SHANK!

Jenny Shank's story collection MIXED COMPANY won the George Garrett Fiction prize and the Colorado Book Award, and her novel THE RINGER won the High Plains Book Award. Her work has appeared in The Atlantic, The Washington Post, The Guardian, Los Angeles Times, Prairie Schooner, Missouri Review, and McSweeney’s.
