Your Windows computer already has a built-in security program called Windows Defender. You do not need to pay extra for it. (and we hight recomend it)
Here is one simple thing you can do today to confirm it is working for you:
🔧 Open your Start menu and search for Windows
✅ Click "Virus and threat protection"
💡 Check that your protection is listed as up to date
That is it. Your computer handles updates quietly in the background. You just need to make sure the setting is turned on.

Here is one thing worth checking on your Windows 11 computer this week.
Microsoft just fixed a problem that has bothered people for over twenty years. Your folders used to forget how you set them up. You would organize them just right, and the next time you opened the folder, everything reset.
That is now fixed. Here is how to get the update in about two minutes:
💡 Click the Start button at the bottom center of your screen
⚙️ Open Settings, then click Windows Update on the left side
🔄 Click Check

Have you ever set up your computer folders just the way you like them, only to come back the next day and find everything jumbled up again?
That was a real, long-standing Windows problem. Not something you did wrong. It happened to millions of people every single day.
The good news is that a new Windows 11 update rolling out right now finally fixes it. Your folders will actually remember how you set them up. The layout, the sort order, even your icon size.
We wrote a plain-English guide explaining exactly what changed and how to make sure your computer gets the update. It takes about two minutes to check.
