🔥🏋️ TEAM ANNOUNCEMENT: PLATE DOWN, MUSCLE UP

Representing Palm City CrossFit, introducing...
Jaime Venegas & Dashawn Thomas!
They call themselves “Plate Down, Muscle Up.”
Although “Beauty & the Arthritis” was a VERY close second. 😂💀

👴 Jaime Venegas – Jaime has that classic old-man strength. He might need 17 minutes, three stretches, a massage gun and a verbal agreement from both knees before the workout...
But once he’s warm, he can MOVE. 😂
Just don’t let him sit down between events.
If Jaime cools off, we may need jumper cables to get him going again. 💀

⚡ Dashawn Thomas – Young, athletic and still living in that beautiful stage of life where his knees don’t sound like someone opening a bag of Doritos.
Dashawn’s job is simple:
Lift fast.
Move fast.
And every few minutes check that Jaime is still fu***ng alive. 😂

Together they’re Plate Down, Muscle Up...
Dashawn brings the horsepower.
Jaime brings years of experience and several mysterious clicking noises.
Dashawn: “You ready?”
Jaime: “Physically or emotionally?” 💀😂
By Event 3, Dashawn will already be recovered...
While Jaime is somewhere behind the tent stretching a body part he didn’t even know existed yesterday.

Because once the old man gets properly lubricated...
Dashawn might actually have himself one hell of a partner. 😂

🍭🔥 TEAM ANNOUNCEMENT: SHORT & SWEET 🔥🍭

Representing CrossFit Wild, introducing...
Sami Rosario & Kimmy Savino!
They call themselves “Short & Sweet.”
We’re assuming “short” refers to their height and “sweet” refers to the approximately 30 seconds before the workout starts. 😂💀

🍬 Sami Rosario – Small package, absolutely no chill. The kind of athlete who hears “Beginner Division” and somehow interprets that as:
“Perfect. Time to act like there are scouts watching.” 😂
Tell Sami to pace herself and she’ll nod...
Then immediately come out of the gate like the workout is only 90 seconds long.

🔥 Kimmy Savino – Kimmy looks like she’ll be the voice of reason.
She is not.
Sami: “Should we send it?”
Kimmy: “Probably not.”
Sami: “Okay.”
Kimmy: “…but f**k it, let’s go.” 💀😂
Together they’re Short & Sweet...

Short enough to sneak under the radar.
Sweet enough to make friends before their heat.
And competitive enough to stop being sweet the second another team gets one rep ahead. 😂🔥
By Event 2, their judge is going to realize:
The team name was a description... not a promise about their personalities. 💀

Because Sami & Kimmy may be Short & Sweet...
but there’s nothing cute about two little women coming from CrossFit Wild with something to fu***ng prove. 🍭🔥😂

😂🔥 TEAM ANNOUNCEMENT: PROBABLY SCALED 🔥😂

Representing CrossFit Fort Pierce, introducing...
Win Warren & Shana De Witt!
They call themselves “Probably Scaled.”
Which is interesting considering they’re registered RX Co-Ed.
Apparently “Probably” means whatever the hell Win & Shana want it to mean. 😂

🔥 Win Warren – Win is the kind of guy who looks at an RX workout and says:
“That’s not too bad.”
Those are usually the last confident words spoken before a man is sitting on a cooler wondering why his forearms stopped working. 💀😂
He’ll absolutely have a strategy...
Right up until another team gets three reps ahead.
Then strategy becomes:
“SHANA, WE GOTTA GO!” 😂

💪 Shana De Witt – Shana has the perfect response to Win’s sudden mid-workout panic:
Completely ignore him and keep moving.
Win: “WE’RE BEHIND!”
Shana: “It’s been 45 seconds.”
Win: “EXACTLY!” 💀😂
And if Win starts getting a little too excited, Shana looks like the type to hit him with:
“You wanted RX. Now pick up the damn bar.” 😂🔥

Together they’re Probably Scaled...
Win brings the urgency.
Shana brings the adult supervision.
And somehow these two took a team name that sounds like they’re trying to avoid RX...
and used it to walk straight into the RX division. 💀

They may be called Probably Scaled...
but there’s nothing “probably” about these two showing up ready to throw the hell down. 🔥💪

🔥 Sponsor- 4 YEARS STRONG — THANK YOU NAPOLI ORTHODONTICS! 🔥

We’re incredibly grateful to welcome Napoli Orthodontics back as a sponsor of the 2026 PCCF Throwdown — for the FOURTH year! 🙌

🔥💀 TEAM ANNOUNCEMENT: RX OR DIE 💀🔥

Representing CrossFit LPF, introducing...
Erik Siegfried & Mark Bevilacqua!
They call themselves “RX OR DIE.”
And we’re not even going to ask which one came up with the name…
because clearly neither one of them is responsible for making good decisions. 😂💀

💪 Erik Siegfried – Shows up with the kind of confidence that says, “If it’s on the RX side of the board, I can fu***ng do it.”
Doesn’t matter if it’s heavy.
Doesn’t matter if it’s 30 reps.
Erik’s already putting another plate on the bar while everyone else is still discussing strategy. 😂

🔥 Mark Bevilacqua – You’d think every team needs one responsible partner.
This team apparently skipped that part.
If Erik says, “Let’s go unbroken,” Mark isn’t asking whether that’s smart.
He’s asking:
“How fast?” 💀😂

Together they’re RX OR DIE…
One brings the horsepower.
One brings the gas.
And neither one seems particularly interested in locating the brakes. 😂🔥
By Event 2, their judge is going to stop asking:
“Athletes ready?”
…and start asking:
“Do you guys ever fu***ng pace anything?” 💀

Because Erik & Mark didn’t sign up to play it safe.
They came to move some heavy-ass weight, send every workout, and let tomorrow’s soreness deal with the consequences. 🔥😂
