Work at one of the oldest breweries in the nation while assisting guests. This job is a mix of retail, providing tours, and bartending.
• Assist customers in purchasing product.
• Engage with customers, in person and over the phone, by greeting them and responding to any questions.
• Process payments at the register and handle cash, check, and card transactions.
• Fulfill online transactions through processing payment, packaging, and shipment.
• Maintain the Gift Shop through restocking and daily cleaning duties.
• Escort guests around the brewery and provide an informative tour.
• Assist guests while pouring drinks in our outdoor sampling area.
Qualifications
• Excellent customer service
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds in relation to beer cases and kegs
• Prior experience with retail, customer service, and/or bartending advantageous
• Ability to work on Saturdays
• Will train on brew descriptions
Hours are flexible.
Position timeframe is for Summer; however, it's open for extension.

On January 28, 1971 the first beer was served on a Wisconsin State University campus (well, legally anyway) when it happened at WSU-Stevens Point. The Board of Regents for the system approved beer sales at a number of campuses, but Stevens Point was first. Of course, Point Special from Point Brewery was the first beer on tap.
