3 Hearts Farm Animal Rescue

It’s important to peek behind the curtain.

Know who you’re dealing with. Seek out the facts. Numbers don’t lie.
PETA sucks and they hate Pitbulls.

They’re not our People

PETA contacted Snopes claiming my insanely viral post about their euthanasia numbers was misleading. And when I get something wrong, or when I don’t give you the full context, I’m dedicated to setting the record straight. So I want to be completely transparent here and explain exactly where my post could have been misleading.

I used PETA’s own 2024 filing with the Commonwealth of Virginia, which showed that they euthanized 2,213 of 3,317 animals, 66.7%. What I left out was that in 2023 they euthanized 2,559 of 3,294 animals, 77.7%, and in 2022 it was 2,130 of 2,886, 73.8%. So yes, I probably should have given you more context. The 66.7% number I used was actually considerably lower than the two years immediately before it. These aren’t my numbers. They’re PETA’s own numbers submitted to the state of Virginia. I sent the primary-source filings to Snopes, and we’ll see what they publish. Apparently PETA wanted people to look more closely at their euthanasia records. Happy to help.

Thank you to 3R outdoor services llc for helping us relocate a shelter for our back pasture residents!

Yes, they have 8 wooded acres to seek shelter, but we wanted to make sure everybody could get fully out of a storm if they needed to!

We are so thankful for our Friends who have become Family!

I wish I'd planned for the future, back when it stretched out before me as far as the eye could see. In the days when life was like this valley in the picture below; seemingly endless and brilliant in its beauty.

Do you know what the great irony of life is?

Everyone tells you that you're going to get old...that you will pay for all that fun you've had with a bad back and sore knees, arthritis in your hands and crippled hips. They say your eyesight will weaken and your ears grow selectively deaf. But did you give care to their warning? Or would it have truly made a difference if you did?

Pretty soon you are stripping cinches and saddle bags off your saddles just to throw them on the next horse when you make the big switch at lunch time. Then you go and buy a smaller horse, one who stands closer to the ground. And you be sure to go try that horse and check out how he feels to your hips and back. Can you ride him for hours? Can you rope well off him? Is he like a rocking chair to your mended old broken spots? Because this horse is as close to a rocking chair as you intend to get.

You know what the great irony of life is?

We aren't in charge of how old we get, just whether or not we allow it to defeat us before we slip away. Get old with dignity, or fight it tooth and nail and get old anyway.

Well, for those of us who never made a retirement plan past the time we go to bed each and every night...

For those of us who have never done one dignified thing in our life, and yet still refuse to fight the inevitable passing of time...

For those of us who embrace wealth of soul and memories over comfort and material...

Perhaps there is a third option.

Maybe...just maybe...we can pick a horse who rides as soft and smooth as a lullaby, and lope off like everyday is an excellent day to meet our maker.

Have a good day folks. 😊

Well… y’all are making us feel all the feelings. 🥹❤️

THANK YOU to everyone who has already grabbed a “Don’t Let Your Feelings Become Felonies… You’re Too Pretty for Jail Anyway!” shirt! 😂👕 Your support means more than you know.

Our goal is to sell 100 shirts, and every single one helps fill our hay fund 🌾 and vet fund 🩺 so we can keep saying “yes” when farm animals need us most.

We also know times are tight right now. ❤️ There are so many worthy causes, and we’re incredibly grateful that you’ve chosen to support Three Hearts Farm Animal Rescue. Whether you buy a shirt, share the fundraiser, or simply cheer us on, you’re making a difference.

🎨 Want a different shirt color? Just send us a message before you order! If it’s available, we’ll happily add it to the lineup so you can get your favorite color.

⏰ The fundraiser is only open for TWO WEEKS, and then all orders go straight into production and ship directly to you!

So if you’ve been thinking about it… this is your sign. 😉 Because staying diplomatic is hard, jail sounds expensive, and besides… you’re way too pretty for orange. 🤣🧡

Thank you for helping us keep the hay stacked, the vet bills paid, and the animals safe. We couldn’t do this without this amazing community. 🐴🐐🐖🐓❤️

Sometimes the hardest part of animal rescue isn’t mucking stalls, bottle-feeding babies, or chasing escaped goats… it’s managing our feelings. 🤠❤️🐐

When emotions run high, it’s easy to want to say exactly what’s on your mind. But at Three Hearts Farm Animal Rescue, we’ve learned that helping animals means showing compassion not only to them—but to the people connected to their stories, too. 💕

Our mission is to advocate fiercely for animals while treating people with kindness, grace, and respect. It’s a balancing act… and let’s be honest…

Don’t let your feelings become felonies. 😂🚔

That’s why we created our newest fundraiser tee! It’s funny, relatable, and a daily reminder that sometimes taking a deep breath does more good than firing off that text or Facebook comment. 😅

Every shirt purchased helps us continue rescuing, rehabilitating, and caring for farm animals in need. 🐴🐷🐓🐐

💛 Donations are also accepted at checkout, so if you’d like to give a little extra, every dollar goes directly toward feed, hay, medical care, and giving animals a second chance.

Wear the shirt. Share the message. Support the rescue.

Because kindness saves lives… and orange jumpsuits don’t look good on anybody. 😉❤️
