3 Hearts Farm Animal Rescue
EIN: 88-2279941
Our mission is to protect, advocate and rescue livestock animals from neglect, abuse, abandonment, and slaughter.
We strive to save and rehabilitate all animals, restore their trust, and find them safe, loving, permanent adoptive homes.
Last week our friends over at Alvin Ord's Sandwich Shop Springtown Texas made a blueberry/lemon dessert that really was to die for!!
This week they honored us by make our absolute fave combo of raspberry/lemon.
Light sweet and leaves you begging for more!!
Running back down there to scoop up a few more… right after a food coma!
Thank you to the crew at Alvin Ord’s that have been busying their buns all week for the community after the recent tornado
We see you
We support you
We ❤️❤️❤️ you!
Some days just hit different… and today hit with a snap 💔💩🍴
Our FAVORITE p**p scoop fork (yes, we have favorites… don’t judge 😂) officially gave its last scoop today. Gone too soon. A true hero. A legend in the field. It served with honor, dignity, and… a whole lot of 💩
There we were, mid-cleanup, feeling productive and farm-fabulous, when CRACK—down she went. And honestly? It felt a little personal 😅
But here’s the thing… as ridiculous as it sounds, we’re actually really grateful 🙏🐐🐓Grateful to have animals to care for.Grateful for the messy, smelly, beautiful work of rescue life.Grateful that our days are filled with purpose—even when that purpose involves broken tools and a whole lot of manure 💛
Because every scoop means a safe, loved, and cared-for animal. And that’s a trade we’ll take every single time.
Now… if anyone has a heavy-duty, indestructible, superhero-level p**p fork recommendation… we’re all ears 👀😂
The tornado warning has officially passed, and we are sitting under blue skies again. 💙
We were incredibly blessed to be missed by what touched down nearby. While it came far too close for comfort, everything here at 3 Hearts Farm Animal Rescue is safe and just fine.
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for every message, call, and prayer. Your love and support mean more than we can ever fully express. 🤍
Tonight, we’re holding deep gratitude for our safety, while also keeping our surrounding community in our thoughts as recovery begins. There’s still a long road ahead for many, and we are lifting them up in every way we can.
All is well here. Hugging our animals a little tighter tonight. 🐐🐓
🌪️💔 Here we go again…
We are currently under a tornado watch for the second time, and our hearts are a little heavier tonight. Last time, we were unbelievably blessed — a true hedge of protection surrounded our home, our rescue, and our neighborhood. 🐐❤️
Right now, a rotation has been spotted about 15 minutes north of us and is heading this direction. We are watching closely, staying prepared, and keeping all of our animals safe and calm. 🐓🐖🐑
If you pray, please keep us, our animals, and our entire community in your thoughts. 🙏
We’ll share updates as we can — thank you all for always checking in and standing with us. 💛
Stay safe out there, everyone.

THIS RIGHT HERE!
🆘 “The trailer is leaving.” “They ship at dawn.” “Only $200 left to save this soul.” 🆘
We’ve all seen the high-pressure posts. It’s called Mass Bailing—when a rescue fundraises for dozens of horses at once directly from a kill pen. It feels like a victory when that “Bailed” banner goes up, but for horses like Terra, the bail was just the beginning of a dangerous gamble.
Farrah was part of a mass-bailed group where the rescue never actually took the horses into their care. They were given away directly from the lot with no vetting, no quarantine, and no safety net. That’s how we ended up with Farrah.
The result for the others?
Just weeks after being “saved,” some of Farrah’s companions were right back at a low-end auction. They were “bailed” with donor money, only to be discarded again because there was no plan for their actual care.
We found out because we stepped in to save one of those “twice-discarded” horses. Sadly, we were unable to help the others.
As harsh as it sounds, when we give into the emotions of these mass bails without asking questions, the horses are the ones who are ultimately failed. As a donor, demand a follow-up. If a rescue “saves” 50 horses but only posts about five, ask what happened to the other 45. Where did they go? Who is checking on them?
Farrah is now a riding horse because we put in the work—the vetting, the rehab, and the training. We aren’t interested in “numbers.” We are interested in lives. This weekend, our team is picking up the horse that had to be saved twice to bring them back to our ranch for a real future.
Help us break the cycle. Support rescues that provide a landing pad, not just a payout.

Another example of our friends and neighbors are showing up for each other after a tornado blew through town.
I can’t say enough times how proud I am to live here
Spread the word 📣
A few nights ago, a tornado tore through Springtown, and like so many of our neighbors, we watched it change our town in a matter of minutes. 💔🌪️
By some grace, Three Hearts Farm Animal Rescue was spared. Our fences still stand, our barn is still here, and most importantly—all of our animals are safe. 🐐🐓❤️ This sweet moment of a baby goat napping with a pile of chickens feels even more meaningful today… a reminder of peace after the storm.
We are so deeply thankful for every text, call, and message checking on us. It means more than we can put into words. 🤍
Anything that was damaged can be rebuilt. Wood, wire, and roofs can be replaced. But lives cannot—and we are holding so much gratitude that every single one of our animals made it through safely.
Our hearts are with our neighbors and friends who weren’t as lucky. This community is something special—people showing up for each other, helping, lifting, and loving in the hardest moments. We are proud and thankful to be part of it. 🙏
If you’re in need, or if you’re helping others, we are here with you. One step at a time, we rebuild—together. 🤝✨
