Well we had a slow start to the weekend but Nago finally got his act together and won his class and high in class novice!

Nessie earned her Barnhunt Instinct title today

The crew had a great rally trial in Azle this weekend!

Sonic picked up her first 3 choice legs (she had one 1st place with a perfect score and a 4th place also).

She earned 3 master legs, two 4th place finishes and 16 master points (32 to go for her RACH).

Nago earned his excellent title with 2 firsts and a second.

***Update*** Elvira is currently being transported to a new home that we hope will work out long term.

I cannot express the gratitude that Kris and I have felt towards the outpouring of support our community has given us. This post was shared over 50 (!) times.

I fully expected to experience judgement and back lash for being unable to bring her into my home and I am so grateful to have only received love and support instead. Thank you to everyone who had a hand in helping Elvira. You guys are the best.

Nessie has a sister named Elvira that is in need of a long term foster or rehome. She is from the Spyro x Nago litter. I am unfortunately unable to take her back into my home because she has same s*x aggression issues and would not thrive with my current females who are all very dominant. I think her behavior would devolve in my chaotic environment and that's not fair to either her or my current dogs.

The reason for the rehoming isn't the SSA. Her owner is a disabled veteran who is going through an extremely volatile family situation.

Transportation can be arranged throughout the country at my expense. She's currently in a short term foster in Colorado.

Please contact me or her owner Kris Rand if you are interested. I'm devastated that I'm unable to personally take her in with my current dogs and set up but I am doing everything else within my power to help her. My inability to help her makes me feel like the worst breeder on earth but I'm going through some crazy things myself right now and I'm out of options. I can offer financial assistance but I can't bring her here with all I have going on.

3 year old, spayed female MAS.
35 lbs
Black tricolor (black, brown, white)
Current Canine DA2PPLV, Rabies, through September.
Currently on Nexguard Plus.

Recent bloodwork in Oct 2025, Spay in Dec 2025.

Cons:
-Exhibited SSA with elderly bully mutt in home around 1yr. Occasionally SSA with similar aged MAS female in home.
-Does not do well with non-dog savvy cats in home per foster. (Was OK with dog savvy cat in home prior to foster).
-Anxious/insecure, needs time to warm up to new handler. Can be managed during this period with a slip lead.
-Resource guarding high value food and objects from dogs only (no issues with humans).

Pros:
- Extremely handler focused and loyal. Will not stray far from you.
- Eager to please and biddable
- Has been neutral with controlled meetings of other dogs outside the home when with foster.
- Tolerant of grooming, drying.
- Quiet when crated, some fomo whining / soft barking, but nothing unacceptable for apartment living with foster.

Cats: Only if dog savvy and have ability for separate spaces
Dogs: No dogs in home preferred, possible non-dominant male after meeting.
Children: Unknown, would likely be fine with older (12+) children who can understand dog behavior"
