🌟 Come hungry, vote wisely, and support a great cause! Proceeds from the Chili Challenge will be donated to the Springfield Zoological Society.

Thanks to a member for hosting the Travis Reid band on the SMBC patio this Friday from 6:30-9:30, doors open at 5:00. Food and drink specials inside. 50/50 drawing . Beer, seltzers, and Surfside lemonades at the outside bar. Bring a lawn chair and enjoy an evening at the Springfield Motor Club.

Introducing your Beat 500 Lake Area Neighborhood Police Officer, Officer Bridges.

Officer Bridges has been dedicated to serving our community with the Springfield Police Department since 2020, Bridges is a PPCT(defense tactics) and GST (Gracie Survival Tactics/Brazillian Jiu Jitsu) instructor; he trains our new recruits in defensive tactics after they graduate from the academy. Officer Bridges is also a Field Training Officer and fi****ms instructor.

With a focus on beat 500, Officer Bridges is committed to building strong relationships with Lake Area residents. Excited for the summer ahead, he looks forward to connecting with the community on Lake Springfield.

When he's not on duty, Officer Bridges enjoys family time and honing his skills through training.
