The Greene County Clerk’s Office is looking for Republican and Democratic election judges for the November 3, 2026 General Election!

Election judges help keep Election Day running smoothly by assisting voters, handling check in, and supporting equipment at polling locations. Training is provided, pay is included, and no experience is needed.

Under Missouri law, election judges must meet certain qualifications:
• Be a registered voter in the State of Missouri;
• Be a person of good repute and character;
• Be able to speak, read and write the English language;
• Not serve at a polling place where the judge’s name or the name of a relative appears on the ballot; and
• Not hold elected public office while serving as an election judge.

My brother invited us to see a movie recently with my little boy, and I was struck by how expensive it has gotten. I have been thinking about how to make it easier for people to get to know me and for me to hear from people directly, and I also want to use this season to try and give back to our community. The Hatch Auditorium is a great community resource, and I am excited that to have this opportunity to connect with our neighbors and have some fun. I hope everyone will come join me for a morning of conversation and collaboration on the 12th, but if you just want to come watch a movie with your kids, that’s okay too!
