Anyone remember when having Ranch dressing at home meant making it from scratch? Anyone? Just me? OK. 🙋‍♀️

You may not know this, but we make our Ranch AND our bleu cheese from scratch, usually twice a week, because y'all are some dip loving people! I just made 8 quarts of Ranch and more than 3 quarts of bleu cheese, adding a pound of delicious crumbled cheese into it, and we'll need more before the weekend is over.

It's another way we strive to make our food exceed your expectations. It's "bar food" but with a little extra love. 💗

Last Wednesday, I spent Wednesday in Nashville renewing my Serv Safe certification. It's several hours of sitting in a hotel conference room brushing up on food safety rules and then taking a 90 question, closed book exam.

I found out today that I got a 96 out of 100, which was the highest grade in the whole class! Shane says this means there's only a 4% chance I'll screw up and make someone sick. 😂 (I hope you'll think those odds are pretty good and want to come eat here.) Thank goodness I won't have to do this again for five more years! ✅️

Hey there - it's 10:30 am and we've had two of our kitchen crew call out for tonight 😬 so we are backing up and regrouping.

Because we are short staffed, we're cutting quesadillas and beef sliders tonight, but just LOOK at all the options we STILL have for you! 👀

Sometimes it's the little things that bring the greatest joy, and today Shane and Bob upgraded the cooling unit in the walk-in to keep it safely cool during the heat of summer. Also, this is where Karen will now be living this summer. 🥶😂

🍺 Monday - Clay's on vacation, so we are back to Bob and Shane, the OG brewers, cranking out a batch of our Sunny Vanilla Cream Ale! (Peep the throwback pic from June 2019 on the day the brewing equipment was delivered.)
🍺 Tuesday - ⁉️ Team Trivia at 7 pm - come beat Team "Risky Quizness!"
🍺 Wednesday - It's National Iced Tea day, and we brew it for you fresh every day! Come try a glass today.
🍺 Thursday - 🏃🏃‍♀️🏃🏽‍♂️🤸‍♂️ Joggers & Lagers will meet on the patio at 6 pm; then at 7 pm, it's with Alex Hall and Sam Banks. 🎙🎶🎶🎶
🍺 Friday - Our patio is a great place to kick off your weekend with a cold Yellow Jacket APA! 🐝
🍺 Saturday - Sawyer says she may not be old enough for a bloody Mary but she sure loves the pickled okra garnish! Come get one for brunch today from 11-2 pm.
🍺 Sunday - 🥃 Celebrate National Bourbon Day with us! We'll start off with brunch and have bourbon slush AND bourbon flights, so watch for more info!

Silent Book Club Sundays restore my faith in people being able to slow down and read for pleasure. Join us again on July 5th at 2 pm! 📚

A friend was in England last week, and we talked about how many amazing independent bookstores she visited there. Somehow, reading for pleasure has become something a lot of people here don't do anymore, and we think that's sad. 📚

If you love to read but have a hard time carving out the time, join us for this Sunday, June 7, at 2 pm. There's no assigned reading - simply bring what YOU want to read & read with us.

Silently. Peacefully. Guilt free time for you. (Beverages are optional, but encouraged because they make reading EVEN better! 🍺🍷)
