A flight nurse with Mercy Life Line Air Medical Service in Fort Smith, Ray has spent years caring for patients across rural communities where help is often miles away. Today, he’s using his photography skills to highlight the people behind those missions.

“Our Life Line team puts in hours and hours of training to be ready to help care for people in our communities,” Ray said. Through his lens, he’s helping tell the story of the crews who bring critical care closer to home for neighbors across the region.
