Nepal Flood Relief and Church Assistance

Our BBFI missionaries to Nepal, the Freemans and the Ghimires, are preparing to assist with the flood disaster we have all seen in Nepal. Your giving will provide immediate and ongoing relief to churches, pastors, and believers who have been affected by the devastating floods that struck Nepal on August 26, 2026.

Kathmandu Bible Baptist Church is prepared to respond to this crisis and assist churches and believers who have been directly affected. Rather than simply providing humanitarian assistance, our desire is to see this relief effort become an extension of the ministry of the local church. We want to help affected believers rebuild, encourage pastors and churches that are suffering, meet urgent physical needs, and ultimately use these opportunities to demonstrate the compassion of Christ and share the Gospel with surrounding communities.

Funds will be used, as appropriate and as needs are verified, for:

• Emergency food, water, and essential supplies
• Assistance to pastors and church families who have lost homes or livelihoods
• Repair and rebuilding of damaged church facilities
• Assistance with restoring ministry operations
• Practical assistance to affected believers
• Transportation and delivery of relief supplies to difficult-to-reach areas
• Gospel-centered outreach to affected communities

Simply go to https://bbfimissions.com/project/disaster-relief .

You may also send checks to:
BBFI
P.O. Box 191
Springfield, MO 65801
In the memo of the check put: Disaster Relief

100% of the funds given toward this disaster will go to the help the people of Nepal through our missionaries and local churches.

Congratulations to Glenn and Sherri McGhee for 30 Years of Faithful Service!!! 🇪🇨

Today, we celebrate Glenn and Sherri McGhee and their 30 years of faithful service as missionaries to Ecuador!

Glenn graduated from the Missions Course at Baptist Christian College in 1984, and the McGhees completed their missionary internship at Trinity Baptist Church in Abilene, Texas. In September 1990, they were approved as missionaries to Ecuador, beginning a journey of faithfully serving the Lord and reaching others with the Gospel.

The McGhees became eligible to receive their 30-year missionary award in 2020, but they were still faithfully serving on the field and unable to be present to receive it.

We are grateful for the McGhees' decades of faithful service, sacrifice, and commitment to taking the Gospel to Ecuador. Thank you, Glenn and Sherri, for saying “yes” to God's call and faithfully serving for 30 years!
