Waking up this morning with a heart FULL of love.

Last night's show Gold Leather & Lace - A Tribute To Fleetwood Mac was pure magic.

Four years ago, my company Merie Productions and The Whitefish Summer Concert Series was just an idea—a dream of bringing extraordinary professional music to our little corner of Montana, creating opportunities for incredible artists, and giving this community nights where we could all come together through music.

And last night, I felt just how many people believe in that dream with us.

So today, I just want to say LOVE.

LOVE to Whitefish Theatre Company for saying yes to this collaboration four years ago and continuing to believe in what we are building.

LOVE to every single artist who has stepped onto our stage over these past four years and brought their gifts, their hearts and their artistry to Whitefish.

LOVE to the businesses, sponsors, friends and community members who showed up last night, bought tickets, bid on auction items, donated and simply said, “We believe in this.”

And so much love and gratitude to the extraordinary artists who stood beside me last night—Halladay Quist, Ross Bridgeman, Matt Seymour, Matt Brua, Jeremy Reinbolt, and my beautiful husband, Dustin Brayley.

You say YES to my crazy ideas. You dream with me. You give everything you have when you step onto that stage. And I love you for it.

But maybe the biggest thing I woke up thinking about this morning is this:

ASK FOR WHAT YOU WANT IN THIS WORLD.

Ask.

There ARE people who want to help you.
There ARE people who believe in your dreams.
There ARE people who will show up, give what they can, open a door, buy a ticket, make a donation, lend a hand or simply say YES.

Last night was our very first fundraiser for the future of the Whitefish Summer Concert Series, and every single person who participated became part of what comes next.

Because of YOU, there will be more music.
Because of YOU, more artists will have a stage.
Because of YOU, we get to keep dreaming bigger.

And if you weren’t able to be there with us in person last night but would still like to be part of all this LOVE, our fundraising campaign is still live.

You can donate anything you can. Truly, every dollar matters, and every dollar goes toward helping us make the 2027 Whitefish Summer Concert Series our best one yet.

My heart is very, very full this morning.

And we are just getting started.

When life starts “life-ing” just ask yourself, “What would Dolly do?”

What a blessing it was to try, in my own small way, to fill her shoes this June. 🤍

Portraying Dolly and celebrating her extraordinary music reminded me all over again that she was so much more than the songs, the rhinestones, the hair, the humor, or that unmistakable voice.

She was heart. She was generosity. She was faith, grit, kindness, laughter, and an unwavering belief that you could come from very little and still give so much back.

I love her so much. And I will forever be grateful that I had the opportunity to step into her music, tell a piece of her story, and feel the love people have for her night after night.

The greatest legacy any of us could hope for is to leave this world a little better than we found it.

Dolly Rebecca Parton did exactly that.

We will always love you, Dolly. Your music will keep playing, your light will keep shining, and the world is better because you were here. 🦋✨
