I couldn't wait to share. Y'all tired of seeing me take Red out for a ride? Me neither.

First shoot for this cosplay went so well!! Even more, I'm stoked I was able to take my longboard along and get some action shots while I tore up the parking lot - slowly, mind you. Having big boot covers made it a little trickier to get my footing right!

So very excited to get photos in of Regigigas - all thanks to ! Really captured the cosplay wonderfully on its first outing at PAX West!

This was a cosplay I'd idealized for at least the past two years. Always had a fondness for the Regi, and seeing how fanart likes to play them up, especially Regigigas? It planted some ideas I needed to see through. Plenty to still fix and upgrade for next time (flashing lights on his eyes, maybe custom gloves, patching up the moss boots, adding Regicries?) but I'm still so proud of how this turned out.

Thanks to everyone who loved seeing the cosplay in action, everyone at the Pokemon meetup, and of course, to everyone who wished me luck in finding Regidrago and Regieleki. I'm sure they'll turn up somewhere...

I didn't really get a proper photo during con, but Footsoldier D performed magnificently during Sakuracon. Doing two games of cosplay chess with him was a bit much, but I learned a lot from last year. Aimed high for the physical comedy and I think it worked!

Day two of Sakuracon went fantastically. Ran as stage ninja for the main game of chess and had a few wipeouts while I learned the ropes for behind the scenes.
Red got his debut during the day and held up *beautifully*. I do know a few places to improve him for PAX, but this has been the most comfortable cosplay I've done.

Things are chugging along and I think it's pretty safe to say this will be what I'll be bringing to Sakura-Con this coming weekend. Can't wait to see everyone out there!

End of day and Matoro managed to survive a full day (with the help of duct tape). I cannot wait to fix him up and make even further improvements.

Calling it here for the night. Just a few more pieces to construct tomorrow and some PVC for the handle, and we'll have a nice little cordak blaster on our hands!

With Sakuracon looming and still plenty more to fix up and finish, I'll have to do final touches later this year. As a starting point I think this will turn out nicely. Already have ideas on making the actual cordak bullets!
